Business Development & Operations Executive

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing business development strategies, fostering brand partnerships, expanding the business through stockists and pop-ups, and overseeing operations.

Business Growth & Development (60%)
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive sales growth.
- Identify new opportunities for local and global market expansion, revenue generation, and brand awareness.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential target markets, customer segments, and competitive landscape.
- Collaborate with the founder to develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies aligned with terrae's mission and vision.
- Coordinate with external visual merchandising teams to prep visually appealing displays and part-time sales team in engaging customer experiences during pop-up events.
Partnerships & Stockist Management (30%)
- Identify and establish partnerships with relevant stockists, brands, and organizations to enhance brand visibility and reach new customer segments.
- Develop and execute strategies to expand the brand's presence through stockists, including retail stores and online platforms.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stockists, ensuring timely product delivery, effective inventory management, and maximum sell-through.
Operations Management (10%)
- Prepare and manage stock inventory for offline pop-ups, stockists, and online orders with the fulfilment centre team.
- Coordinate with the fulfilment centre team to optimize stock management processes and facilitate efficient order fulfillment.
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrable experience in business administration, marketing, or a related field, for a brand, preferably within the fashion, lifestyle, or sustainability industry.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to identify growth opportunities and drive business expansion.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills to establish and maintain partnerships.
- Knowledge of the sustainable fashion industry, market trends, and competitors.
- Strong organizational and project management skills to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using productivity tools and software for data analysis, project management, and communication.
Founded in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. However, the role will be fully remote.
